This is the "real" Cleveland Bay horse, Tregoyd Journeyman aka "Joe". The model I sculpted was named for him. He was born in Wales, and now lives in Virginia.

He is so incredibly impressive "in person"! His owners, Anna and Daniel Cohen, were just lovely people and it was great to meet them. Everybody agreed that the model really looked like Joe!

Doing a "model signing". The line of people waiting to get their model signed. Most people left the model clipped into the box, so we had to sign them still inside the cardboard liner. Anna signed on behalf of Joe, and I then added my signature. We also signed tee shirts, BreyerFest progams, and photos! Whatever anyone handed us. Our little teensy glimpse into the life of a celeb, ha ha.

I am very glad that the weather was cloudy and somewhat cool (though incredibly humid, which is why I kept my hair stuffed into my cap), or we'd have fainted out there, tent or not!

A bunch of the models on sale in the Breyer Store!! I just couldn't resist taking photos of that wall of models.

A one-of-a-kind color on the Cleveland Bay sculpture, in the annual BreyerFest charity benefit auction. I heard it sold for $1200.00, which is a rather average price for that auction, actually!

My table at the "Artisans Gallery", a trade fair of equine artists held during BreyerFest at the host hotel. I don't think I ever talked so nonstop in my life... for 3 nights in a row! It was a blast seeing the "usual" BreyerFest crowd and friends coming through, and meeting new people too.
